- Managed Investment Funds
- Direct Shares
- Current Assets and Liabilities (please bring all loan & credit card statements)
- Income requirements both now and in retirement (do you know how much you need to live off? Ask for a budget sheet if you are not sure).
- Current identification (e.g. drivers license or other photo identification)
Please allow approximately 1.5 hours for your first appointment.
The Process
What can you expect once you make an appointment?
- You will need to gather all of your personal financial information. This will enable Your Financial Adviser to understand your current situation.
- At your first appointment, your financial adviser will review your current financial situation and discuss with you what it is that you want to achieve emotionally.
- Your Financial Adviser will present & discuss some of your options
- You can review the options presented and decide whether you feel whether this is appropriate for you.
- If you are happy with the suggestions put forward by Your Financial Adviser, you can instruct them to put together a “Statement of Advice”. This is a thorough and detailed record of what you should do and how to get there.
- On your instruction, your financial adviser will implement your plan and you will be kept up to date throughout this process.
- With your permission, we will liaise with your other advisers (such as your accountant, your lawyer, your mortgage broker, etc) to ensure everyone is on the same page, thus increasing accuracy and efficiency for you
- Once we have made the agreed improvements to your financial position, we will work with you on an ongoing basis to ensure that your strategies remain relevant and up to date. Apart from your own personal life changes, there are ever changing developments to legislation (including taxation & superannuation), changes in the market conditions and new financial products available. It is imperative that you have an expert review your plan each year.
